choice is relitive

I like this quote. I chose to put it on my blog and use it to start a post. Does that shock you? probably not, but other things I have chosen might. I thought it would be interesting to make a list of some of the things I have chosen in my life and see how people respond to them. please comment and tell me what your reactions are, we'll find out together if Mr. Maurois is right. Yell at me if you want, preach, whatever, I don't get offended and really that's kind of the point of this. I want to get a rise, good or bad, but every thing on the list is true.

1. I chose to leave the Methodist church I grew up in for the Wiccan path.
2. once when I was little I chose to put my dog in the closet to see how long the air would last. (I lost attention in about 3 min so she was fine)
3. some would argue that I chose to be a lesbian.
4. I chose to drop out of college for trade school.
5. I chose an unstable major with no future that I can put my heart band soul in.
6. I chose acupuncture over a vicodin prescription.
7. I chose to get my belly button pierced.
8. I chose to move out on my own, them move back in with my mother, all for a horse.
9. when I was 14 I chose to shoplift for a friend.
10. I chose to drink Wisconsin old fashioned till I passed out last month. (I am legal to drink in Wisconsin)
11. I chose to be at my grandmothers side when she died, even though I missed all my finals.
12. I chose to take a friend to prom.
13. I chose never to go to a high school dance except prom.
14. I chose to quit playing volleyball because of politics.
15. I chose to be a vegetarian for health reasons, not moral.
16. I choose to flaunt my sexuality with rude T shirts and bumper-stickers.
17. I choose not to have a TV in my Apt.
18. I choose to have my air conditioning on all year round.
19. I choose to sleep naked.
20. I chose to post on the Internet that I sleep naked.

So there's my list, take it as it is. I am sure I could put lots more on here, but we'll keep it at 20, a good number. don't forget to comment, that's the only way this experiment of mine will work.
